We wouldn't expect a GeForce 7600 GS to offer playable frame rates at 1600x1200, but by dropping the AA/AF down to zero we'd certainly expect a playable or close to playable frame rate from it. So a reasonably high resolution from a passively cooled mainstream card seems do-able, even with an E6300. As shown by the Gigabyte P35 board with E6300/7900 GTX combination, a faster card offers far more frame rate potential than a faster CPU.

On the other hand, dropping in an X6800 and 7900 GTX to make it directly comparable to the rest of the boards we've tested, we found the EVGA board performs as well as or within a negligible difference. If you're going high resolution and detail on a bit of a budget then this board seems certainly capable.
